For small businesses that send a few contracts a month

$1.99 a signed document. No subscription.

Drop a PDF. Add your client's email. You pay only when every signer is done. If they never sign, you pay nothing.

No account needed to start. Your client never needs one.

A 35-second recording of the real EsigIt app, sped up in places and recorded in test mode, so Stripe's card page is skipped and the $1.99 charge is a test. Harbor Clean Co. uploads a cleaning agreement, adds the client Jordan Reyes, drags a signature and a date onto the client line, sees the $1.99 price and sends it. Jordan gets the email on a phone, opens the document, types the 6-digit code EsigIt emailed, agrees to sign electronically, draws a signature with a finger and finishes. Then Harbor Clean Co.'s screen shows the agreement completed and $1.99 charged.

How does EsigIt get a contract signed?

EsigIt gets a contract signed in 3 steps. Your client needs no account, no app and no printer.

  1. Drop your PDF

Any contract, quote or waiver you already use. A Word file works too, once you save it as a PDF.

  2. Put the fields where they go

Drag a signature, date or initials onto the page. Add your client's name and email.

  3. Your client signs on their phone

They get a link, see the whole document, enter a code we email them, and sign with a finger. You both get the signed PDF.

What does your client see?

EsigIt puts your business name first, or your own name if you haven't set one. The email arrives from “Your Business via EsigIt” and the signing page opens with who sent it. It's one link, one 6-digit code by email, and one signature.

The real EsigIt signing page on a phone: Harbor Clean Co. at the top, the Residential Cleaning Agreement, and a Review and sign button.

Does an EsigIt signature hold up?

An EsigIt signature holds up for most US business documents under the federal ESIGN Act of 2000 and state UETA laws. EsigIt keeps 4 kinds of proof.

Consent first

Signers agree to sign electronically before they sign, and EsigIt records when.

A code for every signer

EsigIt emails a 6-digit code that expires in 10 minutes. A code stops working after five wrong tries.

A certificate on every PDF

The last page lists who signed, when, from what IP address, and the document's SHA-256 hash.

Every step chained

Each event is hashed onto the one before it, so a changed record shows.

Which free templates does EsigIt have?

EsigIt has 7 free templates as PDFs, a real estate page and a free PDF signer. Read them, copy them, or send any one for signature for $1.99.

Straight answers

What is EsigIt?

EsigIt is a pay-per-document e-signature service for small businesses in the United States, started in 2026 by Chris Taylor. You send a PDF, your client signs on their phone, and EsigIt charges $1.99 when the last person signs. There's no subscription.

Who runs EsigIt?

Chris Taylor runs EsigIt from Kingman, Arizona, under his company Taylor Family Software. Card payments go through Stripe, so EsigIt never sees your full card number.

When am I charged?

EsigIt charges $1.99 once, when the last person signs. If nobody signs, you pay nothing.

Is there anything to cancel?

There's nothing to cancel, because EsigIt has no plan. It saves your card when you send your first document and charges it only when a document is finished.

Does my client need an account?

Your client doesn't need an EsigIt account. They open a link, enter a 6-digit code EsigIt emails them, and sign.

Is an e-signature legally binding?

An e-signature is legally binding in the United States for most business documents, under the federal ESIGN Act of 2000 and state UETA laws. Wills, some family-law documents and a few legal notices are excluded by law. Don't send those through EsigIt. Read the details.

What if my PDF is password-protected?

EsigIt tells you the moment you upload it, before you place any fields, not at the last signature.
